I had a wonderful time in Ohio! It's been a couple of years since I last shot an episode of Beads, Baubles & Jewels. Even though weather was in the high 20's I managed to stay warm by wearing my long underwear!
The staff at KS Productions were so helpful and
supportive. They were there at all times helping us to set up for our
episodes. They also provided us with a wonderful make-up artist. And of course they even plied us
with all kinds of food!
Our host Katie Hacker was fabulous and such a calming
presence during our filming. She is not only professional but a bit goofy
too!
Molly Schaller |
I met Molly Schaller or Molly Schaller Consulting LLC for
the first time. I had seen her on
several episodes of BB&J but had never met her in person. Oh my goodness,
she is so nice! She works with the
company that puts all the beads in Michaels!
Brenda Schweder |
Brenda introduced her new invention Now
That's a Jig!™ (NTaJ!™) wire-wrapping
system. It is a beautiful tool!! And so cleaver! You will now be able to lock in your wire,
and it’s not going anywhere while you can then use two hands to wrap the wire
into the shape that you want. And she is
such a delightful person, and like me, she talks to herself while preparing her
segments!

Stephanie Eddy & Brenda Schweder |
Stephanie
had just flow in from Tennessee where she had appeared on JTV’s Jewel
School. She has written another book “Lazee
Daizee Outer Limits Viking Knit and Beyond” that you can find here.
And of course she brought some of the most stunning designs I’ve ever
seen. And you will see the debut of her
husband’s creation. It is so cute!
We
will all be a part of their 20th anniversary Series 2000 that will be available in May of
2014. To find out more information about Beads, Baubles & Jewels please click on their name above.
